It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.

Helping You Reach Your Next Peak

Whatever the next peak in your life’s journey, getting there will undoubtedly involve challenge.  I bring practical business experience and my training in psychology to the mentoring process.  This individualized practice builds upon your existing strengths to help you discover a unique “path up the mountain” and the enhanced emotional energy to make the climb.

Some clients are executives who want to become more effective leaders.  Others are trying to find the right next career move. Some are working hard to strike the right work / life balance.  And others are simply working to re-energize their climb and find increased fulfillment.

My coaching relies on a few core beliefs:

  • Conquering ourselves, strengthening the emotional skills that lead to positivity and resilience, will create greater success no matter the challenge.

  • We can all strengthen our emotional skills if we have the courage to ask the right questions and do the work.

  • We never stop learning. From where ever we start, each step forward, and sometimes well understood steps backward, better prepare us to climb the next peak.

There are some things only experience can teach. It is impossible to learn how to ride a bike by reading a book.  You have to get out there and ride.  But, our first attempts at new challenges are often tinged by minor wrecks and bruised egos.  The mentor coaching process helps you hone the skills that drive success in an environment that can avoid the major crashes and some of the bruises.

The coaching process involves an ongoing conversation.  Clients and I typically meet in hour blocks, via phone or in person, 2-4 times a month.
